At the forefront of a new-fangled gaming format, the Grosvenor G Casino in Piccadilly is well on its way to becoming everyone’s favourite casino.
Grosvenor G Casino Piccadilly Review
When Grosvenor Group launched the “G Casino” format in 2012, they sought to develop a line of casinos that would cater to every man. The G Casino in Piccadilly fulfilled this, creating a great place that’s “fun, entertaining, and most importantly built on serving customers”.
Situated in iconic Piccadilly Circus, this Grosvenor G Casino has a rich history. In the mid-1950s, Queen Elizabeth II visited the Rialto Cinema (which would later become G Casino Piccadilly) to see the film premiere of “Les Belles de Nuit”. Of course, the land itself has a rich history as well.
Visitors of the casino will be glad to know that they have Roulette, Blackjack, Three-Card Poker, and Texas Hold ‘Em games available. A popular selection of slot games is also available, as well as some state of the art electronic roulette machines. Of course, a casino that offers live cash poker games is sure to be a hit with the current generation of British gamblers, but the lively mix of games makes the casino more appealing to a myriad of gamblers and tourists.
The G Casino Piccadilly has also recently increased the maximum bets on their Roulette and Blackjack tables, so the high-stakes gamer can be sure to get their own share of thrills from the casino.
The casino has two bars: one with a spectacular view of Leicester Square, and another with a wraparound view of the casino as well as large flat screen televisions for sporting events. Aside from chilled beers and elegant cocktails, the bar also serves a variety of bar snacks.
Unfortunately, G Casino Piccadilly does not have an a la carte restaurant, so patrons who feel a bit peckish may have to find somewhere else to eat.
The G Casino Piccadilly’s bars serve as the perfect venues for different events, and many of the world’s biggest sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup 2014 are covered in the wraparound bar. The club is also open for private functions and events, so it’s not uncommon to see a business meeting being held or anniversary being celebrated in one of the club’s bars.
Guests of the casino are expected to dress in smart casual attire if they wish to use any of the casino’s facilities. No sportswear, denim jeans, or hoodies will be allowed within the casino premises.
Membership is required should you wish to enter the casino and play at the tables. Applying for membership is easy, however, and it takes place on your first visit to the casino. Simply bring a valid photo ID and someone from reception will assist you with your application. Registering for the casino automatically enlists patrons in the Grosvenor Rewards program too.
