Gaming options
Open 24 hours a day, The Colony’s gaming rooms are the perfect place for affluent Londoners. With over 20 gaming tables dedicated to American Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Caribbean Poker and Three-Card Poker, as well as dozens of electronic terminals for slots and Electronic Roulette, patrons of the casino need not fear of running out of games to play at the casino.
The Colony prides itself in being able to give a truly personal and private gaming experience to its members, so it also offers private gaming rooms for the most affluent clients. Patrons can request any combination of American Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack and Three-Card Poker to be set up in the private gaming room ahead of time, with experienced and professional dealers and waiting staff ready to cater to their every whim. Privacy is the name of the game at The Colony, and their private gaming rooms also allow access to private smoking areas and private dining facilities.
Dining options
The Colony Club’s restaurant and bar come highly recommended by anyone who’s had the pleasure of visiting, with guests all raving about the excellent service provided by the casino’s well-trained staff. The restaurant is open seven days a week, from 7pm onwards. Guests can book tables at the restaurant via their website, ensuring that their needs and requests can be accommodated by the casino.
A rather well-known feature of the restaurant is their Teppan Yaki tables, which serve the best in Japanese cuisine every day except on Sundays. The restaurant has also become renowned for its European, Chinese, Thai and Indian menus.
The Colony Club also has a newly revamped bar which, like most of the Club’s facilities, is an elegant mix of contemporary design and luxurious, classic architecture. Headed by Riccardo Andreotti, experienced bartenders are ready to create cocktails from their exclusive menu, or serve Champagne and red wine of classic and New World vintages.
The bar also has a secluded VIP section, which offers an extremely warm ambience, with mahogany, bone, and warm shell tones decorating the area. The bar easily adapts to whatever moods its guests wish to convey, and can function as both a formal setting for business meetings and an intimate area for more personal affairs.
Entertainment and events
Unlike other casinos in London, The Colony Club does not hold gambling and poker tournaments. Rather, they hold an annual tournament called the “Mayfair Tournament”, which challenges its members to design and execute custom cocktails which can then be featured in the club’s exclusive menu, and in select bars in the Mayfair area.
Dress code
Strict dress code is implemented in The Colony Club, and while it is easily accessible via public transportation, one cannot simply walk into the club and expect to be allowed to play at their tables.
Membership
You can apply for life membership with The Colony Club for £500, but on occasion, the club’s Membership Committee also awards honorary membership to individuals they deem worthy. With a lifetime membership, patrons are free to access any of the club’s facilities 24/7, with an attentive staff waiting at their every beck and call. Superior dining and a premier location make the club’s membership fees well worth the money.
