Casino Lisboa Review
A huge reflective dome and a looming gold tower mark the Grand Lisboa, which is the tallest building in Macau at a staggering 856 feet. The hotel-cum-casino attracts tourists with its spectacular design. A lotus-shaped structure sits at the base of the hotel, surrounding a gigantic reflective dome that lights up with different colours at night. The majestic tower is also decked with lights that light up the night sky and trace the detailing of the building.
The Grand Lisboa is unapologetic in its extravagance, and while tourists come to the casino because of the flashing lights and attractive exterior, it’s the experience that truly gets them hooked. A world class entertainment hub, the Grand Lisboa offers a range of services and facilities for every type of tourist and gambler.

Anyone who enters the Grand Lisboa expecting a demure interior will be in for a shock, as the casino’s interiors are just as extravagant as its exteriors. Spacious gambling floors, high ceilings painted gold, and a giant purple orb grace the Grand Lisboa’s interiors. 270 gaming tables, over 700 slot machines, and a professional wait and service staff set this gambling mecca apart from other casinos.
Players can enjoy gaming in five different levels, from the basement to the third floor. The basement and ground floor have rather small gaming floors. The basement has mostly slot machines, while the ground floor has gaming tables; the upper floors, however, have a great mix of both. The first floor has the high limit games, and the second floor has a poker room with over thirty tables. Sports betting is also available in the casino.
Michelin-starred restaurants dot the Grand Lisboa, and guests can be sure to experience nothing but the best in fine dining when they visit the hotel. The Robuchon au Dome, found in the dome of the Grand Lisboa, offers a magnificent view of Macau that guests can enjoy as they partake of the most sumptuous cuisine in Macau. The Don Alfonso 1980, the highest Michelin-starred restaurant in Southern Italy, has also come to the Grand Lisboa. The Noodle & Congee Corner, a Michelin Bib Gourmand winner, allows guests to witness how traditional Chinese noodles are made. The 8,and The Kitchen, three- and one Michelin-starred restaurants respectively, are also found in the Grand Lisboa.
These are supplemented by different bars and lounges where guests can take a load off. An extensive wine list and customised cocktails are also served in these bars, and patrons will have no problem relaxing in them in between games.
Entertainment and events
Various events take place in the Grand Lisboa, but the most popular of the shows is the Crazy Paris Show. Having existed in Macau for over 27 years, the Crazy Paris Show now has daily performances in the Grand Lisboa.
The bars, lounges, and function halls of the Grand Lisboa can also be rented out for private and corporate events.
Generally speaking, like other hotels in Macau, there is no dress code implemented in the Grand Lisboa. However, most of the restaurants impose their own dress codes on patrons, so dressing in smart casual attire is advisable.
